This light object was created in lavish handwork in Vienna, 2013. The manufactured coins are 1-Groszy-coins, the smallest currency unit of Poland. The foot consists of a lovely piece of Jarrah root wood (Australian eucalyptus) which was polished with shellac. An illuminant (the pictures show a halogen lamp) fits into the socket which is worked into the foot of the object. The conch can be detached in order to easily change the illuminant.
